About Our Site

LandscapeExpert was formed to offer a unique reference point on advice on creating a great garden or outdoor space.

With the traditional love of gardening in the British Isles and the more recent focus on making the garden an extension of the house there's never been a better time to consider landscaping your garden.

LandscapeExpert goes beyond tending a garden to show you how to tackle gardening on a grand scale. As well as covering plant care we show you how to take on major projects, from planning layouts to finding people to help you make it a reality and then looking after it once it's in place.

We give you ideas too. A garden can be many things, sometimes more than one. LandscapeExpert helps you think about the size, shape and orientation of your plot and the use that you are going to make of the garden. We then throw ideas out so that you can pick and choose the right ones for you.

And we haven't ignored the changing climate that it looks like we'll have to cater for over the coming decades. There are sections on drought resistance gardens and exotic plants that you might never have thought would thrive in the United Kingdom. We also have ideas for low maintenance gardens so that the modern family, cash rich but time poor, can enjoy their gardens.

Our concern was that there was no single UK resource for interesting features and practical advice on this subject.

Our features and articles are written by experts - who have experience, or a particular interest in this area.
